The room sports a new dry wall ceiling and new 2 ¼ inch bed moulding at the top. 9 new LED pot lights were added.  We installed subway tiles on the west wall, bead board, which we painted white on the east wall, changed out old dirty outlets and added GFI protection on the west wall outlets, install granite counter tops on the west side, the east side will get a different material, not sure as of this post.  The floor has been covered with a barn board waterproof LVT with a cork backing.   Several of the cabinets were replaced with stainless steel shelves with a building pot rack making for a both useful and decorator touch.  HGTV eat your heart out!

We also replaced electric stove and recycled to my daughters rental house and add a new dish washer and range hood.  The tug of war continues between Pat and about the refrigerator, she wants a french door counter depth and I want to leave it inlace until we do the east side of kitchen or it fails.  It’s making some strange noises so she’s hopeful.

The dining area has new chairs and is awaiting the banquet wich will be covered in teal faux leather with purple welting and the chandelier will be repaired purple as well.  Paint chips are swirling around as Pat tried to select a color for the room
