Here is sneak peek at the new table for the living room, that are made from oak and will be finished with a red oak stain.

We continue to to make great progress at the Cottage. We survived a snow storm that delivered an additional 7 inches of snow while we were painting and doing other renovation touches.
Before the snow can we were able to take delivery on the furniture for the
Living Room.
We left for home on Saturday just prior to another storm
coming into the area with a truck load of work to do at home:
We also came up with the idea of paining the cheap gold looking kitchen hardware in a pewter finish — we will see how it survives, this was a $6 expense vs about $60 for new hardware.
We finished up the cottage living room painting, and just in time furniture is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Unfortunately it has stared to snow here and the truck is coming from Richmond so its anybody guess if they will call and cancel the delivery.
Were supposed to meet with the Structural Engineer tomorrow as well to get the final drawing for the Bunkie so we can begin the process of getting bids.
We also have Metrocast Cable people scheduled for Thursday, they are a bit more resilient so they may show up.
This is a bad year for old man winter to rear his ugly head when we are attempting to get so many thing completed over the winter.
We finished up the Hardi Backer board today and rehung to of the cabinets in the kitchen We also added a piece of Bead Board on the wall with the arched entry to the living room. We moved all of the furniture from the living room, actually just the gas fireplace and the guest room to the master bedroom and Rivah room in preparation for the floor refinishers who are due at 0830.
