With the kids and grandchildren coming in August we have picked up the pace in the Bunkie. The stairs and decking is now complete and the space is completely water tight.
Tiling has begun and the shower tile is installed and grouted. The hard board is installed in the bathroom as well. The dry wall has been mudded and sanded and the priming has begun.
Pat and I have been doing our part as well the furniture is on site, including bed linens, towels and pool towels. The mattresses and frames are in
the warehouse, all 9 of them because we just don’t have room to store them considering the 960 square foot garage is now and has been a workshop and material storage facility. The new taller garage doors have
been ordered and hopefully will be installed soon. The garage ceiling will be mudded next week and the electrician is coming on August 2, to complete the electrical work, outlets switches and light fixtures.
Wow!!!!! You two are absolutely amazing! The bunkie looks so close to finished; I can only begin to imagine the time and effort it took to get it so near completion so fast. The steps and deck look wonderful, as does the bathroom tile. It will be quite a showplace when completed, and I know the grandchildren are going to love it. Take lots of pictures during their visit. I miss you both — LOTS!
